My journey began at the Asper School of Business, where I earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Actuarial Science. This rigorous program honed my skills in risk assessment, statistical analysis, and financial modeling. Upon graduation, I spent three years as a reserving actuary, focusing on the evaluation of insurance reserves and claim liabilities. This role provided me with a deep understanding of the financial underpinnings of insurance operations and the importance of accurate data in decision-making.
Seeking to broaden my practical experience, I transitioned into the role of Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, overseeing a fleet of 300 vehicles over five years. In this capacity, I led a diverse team, managed daily operations, and ensured exceptional customer service. This period was instrumental in developing my leadership abilities, operational acumen, and customer-centric approach.
